






JAIME GHER, ESQ.
Jaime is a lifelong reproductive justice and human rights activist. She has over twenty years of experience advocating for marginalized individuals and communities navigating complex, often discriminatory legal systems worldwide. After facing fertility challenges and barriers to forming her own family, Jaime started jumpstarted Family Advocates – a boutique legal practice that focuses on supporting individuals and couples seeking to create their families through assisted reproduction, including IVF, surrogacy and gamete donation.
She also works to protect the rights of individuals and families created through third party reproduction, including through parentage orders and adoptions, and represents LGBTIQ+ individuals to ensure their rights, identities, and legal protection. Finally, Jaime provides estate and legacy planning services to help individuals and couples safeguard the financial and emotional wellbeing of their families through revocable living trusts, wills, incapacity planning, advanced healthcare directives, and powers of attorney.
Jaime is licensed to practice law in California. She has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of California Santa Barbara (highest honors), a Juris Doctorate (JD) from the University of San Francisco (cum laude), and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from American University, Washington College of Law.
